Coding Explorer Program

Coding is the basic literacy of the digital age – a prerequisite for jobs of the future. By teaching coding to girls through a series of games and competitions, we hope to offer girls an extraordinary experience that prepares them to become digital leaders!
JYCGIF participants are learning to code through the Girls4Girls Coding Explorer Program, enjoying everything from introductory (“taster”) to advanced Python coding training and AI workshops!

G4G Coding+ Summer Activities

Our G4G Coding+ Summer Activities empower teen girls to code, adopt a tech-forward mindset, and develop vital leaderships skills to lead in a future world and workplace!

For the past two summers, G4G introduced students to a world of coding – the basic literacy of the digital age – through the ”train the trainer model,” preparing graduates to volunteer to empower girls in their community to acquire the digital skills they need to lead.

Mr. Tony Mok

Tony is the Chief Technology Officer of CTF Education Group ("CTFEG") and a passionate EduMaker. He has over 25 years of professional experience delivering information technology solutions to leading companies. Prior to joining CTFEG, he worked as IT Head with a focus on digital transformation at several listed companies in both Hong Kong and Mainland China. As a tech strategist, he aims to provide excellent end-user experience by adopting and implementing diverse advanced technologies through local and global IT vendors, to shore up robust business operations and consistent work productivity. In addition to new technology, Tony is experienced in change management, with a long track record of launching successful platforms that significantly improved the business culture and behaviour of entire groups. Tony is today charged with implementing inventive, new IT solutions for the educators, schools, and stakeholders affiliated with CTFEG.  

Mr. Ka Tim Chu

Ka Tim Chu is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Computer Education. He is passionate about ICT, coding, e-learning, and STEM. In addition to nearly 20 years of experience in the school sector, he organizes an abundance of activities to empower students, girls in particular, to learn coding and STEM. He was awarded the Outstanding IT Teacher award and teaching award on information literacy. Besides his exceptional personal achievements, he led his school teams to win several International Outstanding E-learning Awards for STEM, Coding, and Computational Thinking.
